it has been known for a couple of decades now, certainly in Europe, that all the traditional stretches targetting iliopsoas group of muscles are long term very little effective and do almost nothing for actual length and function restoration of the psoas itself. A whole generation of american osteopaths and therapists and coaches of all kinds have now been promoting more effective methods such as positional muscle release techniques etc. which show instant results but also long term significant outcomes with major effects on postural alignment and general health.
Thus promoting a workshop by a demonstration of a psoas I found rather controversial..

I so agree with you and believe you may find that my work focuses on self-help techniques for relieving discomfort and increasing self awareness – which lends itself to a dynamic supple psoas. Tissue can’t stretch when it is bound up in tension and dry from lack of movement. Go deeper my friend into my work and you will find a very simple idea – awareness is key to health. The human organize knows how to organize itself in time and space. So what interferes???
