DESCRIPTION:“The primary characteristic of any fluid system is in its ability to keep transforming itself.” \nEmilie Conrad \nExploring the use of weights in movement\,  as both a support and an energizing effect on our fluid system\, is the focus of this class. \nBy hydrating all tissue including the juicy psoas our potential for increasing strength and resiliency is benefited by exploring weight.  \n \nVal Loeffner modeled for Core Awareness: Enhancing Yoga Pilates Exercise & Dance \nand teaches jungle gym classes https://innerdance.com/class-descriptions/ \nIMPORTANT: Each person will explore at their own pace and only with a small amount of weight to activate the juicy psoas. Please come prepared with small arm and ankle weights (see photos below) .  If you also happen to have a weighted vest or weighted waist belt please bring it along to show off more possibilities. \nDISCLAIMER: I am not associated with the Continuum Teachers Association or with www.Continuummovement.com.  I was a student and colleague of Emilie Conrad.  I had the opportunity to work with her\, teach together\, and explore her ideas in writing (see Dem Bones article).
