DESCRIPTION:Deepen and Broaden into Your Art\n Psoas and The Actor is a 2-Day Workshop open to every Body working in the Creative Arts\n\nAs Actors we live and breathe the psychological\, examining the motivations and histories of the characters we portray. When I began exploring Psoas\, I began to sense something beyond the mind and beyond psychology. We are animal body\, designed for a direct unmediated experience of our lives and the abundant world around us.\nCore Awareness has changed my experiential perceptions in a deep and lasting way.\n~ Judith Scott ~ \n Psoas is a primal tissue whose bio-intelligence influences all movement and expression. By exploring our primal gestures we disentangle from our conditioning and begin innovating in new and surprising ways to show up\, shape shift and flourish. Attending to biomorphic expression is a process of attuning one self to a different mode of perception. Rather than focusing on accomplishment it requires fostering a softening of control.
