Bio-mechanical methods, which include direct palpation and manipulative techniques traditionally taught in most massage schools and bodywork programs do not provide the iliopsoas  complex with the respect crucial for gaining and recovering dynamic function. As an instinctually reflexive and emotionally expressive tissue, PSOAS, with all its intricate interdependent relationships, neurological and chemical expression of trauma  requires an insightful approach for resolving “core”  tension patterns. This 2 hour class  covers the basics of supporting healthy Psoas without further exacerbating cathartic or engaging in manipulative overwhelm.
