The blossoming sexuality of the mature woman and the succulent fruiting of sexual health in the vitality of the crone….

Slippery When Wet ~ Staying Juicy ~ ~~ When I turned 42, I gave birth to my 3rd child. Being an avid breastfeeding mom, postpartum and peri-menopause collided head on one into the other.  I felt all the bliss of being a source of nourishment while simultaneously finding myself grieving the end of my moon cycles.  Unresponsive scare tissue along my perineum, a result of a tear during my first birth, retore with each consecutive vaginal birth, was now beginning to thin and become a source of irritation. I didn’t know with each healthy birth what I know now; scare tissue needs to be addressed immediately and continually until it dissolves back into healthy tissue. Fortunately I was introduced to the concept of fluid movement and the work of Somatic Pioneer Emilie Conrad’s Continuum Movement.  Emilie is known in her field for her work with the fluid system as it applies to spinal cord injury.Well into in her mid seventies Emilie is one juicy woman; her skin vibrates with lushness, her mind is incredibly alert, and she exudes a living Eros, which tends to send goosebumps through every woman and man that watches her move. She taught me that all tissue needs hydrating (including our brains!) not simply through monitoring liquid intake but by actually igniting the natural wave motion of cells, organs, and connective tissue...I learned that aging is not the same thing as drying out and that what most of us assume is aging is really the result of drying out.  By accessing the mysterious substance of fluid within our  own system we enter a boundless source of pleasure and nourishment…. far reaching consequences affect our consciousness far beyond our personal boundaries…we enter a universal consciousnesses that recognizes pleasure not as isolated titillation but as life’s mysterious and transformative substance….
