Low Back Pain & The PSOAS Connection

Presented November 2020. The video recording available by purchasing a ticket below.

DISCOVER SIMPLE WAY TO: Resolve low back pain ~~~

Rather than being caused by muscular weakness, low back pain is often due to exhaustion. Gaining core strength begins with softening the deepest layers of tissue, specifically the psoas. Doing so increases the capacity for reestablishing skeletal and muscular integrity. Symptoms associated with an unstable pelvis include mid-and low-back pain… inability to stand and bear weight on both feet as well as popping and cracking noises, pain, and stiffness all signal some type of disruption and instability which can lead to back pain.

The earliest rudimentary vertebrae is found in the sea squirt, a 550-million-year-old prevertebral organism. This oceanic creature suggests that the optimal conditions for bringing an injured, exhausted, lack-lustered spine back to life as well as for sustaining healthy bone is through regaining fluid movement…Our longing becomes that which shapes our being and our creative gestures as well as our curious contributions. When our core longing is lost or withers, what appears is often anguish and pain.

Welcome to Core Awareness™

Liz Koch is an international educator and author who seeks to dissolve the objectification of “body” in order to re-conceptualize human beings as biologically intelligent, self-organizing, and self-healing. Employing biomorphic and embryonic paradigms, Liz redefines psoas as smart, expressive tissue that is both elemental and universal.

Core Awareness fosters core integrity and self-efficacy as creative and expressive human beings.

Here at Core Awareness you’ll discover new ways of understanding the psoas. In addition to the blogs there is an educationally rich sourcing free for the taking. Explore my videos, articles, podcasts, interviews, FAQ’s and community links and let yourself go wild!
