Stalking Wild Psoas: Sexual Expression & Core Integrity ~ A Collaboration with Sarah Byrden Boulder CO

September 13, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - September 15, 2019 @ 6:00 pm

$425.00 – $525.00

Taste The Wild Waters of Wholeness

This 2.5-day, process-oriented workshop for EVERY BODY nourishes the bio-intelligent psoas using micro, non-linear, multi-dimensional, fluid movement, and sound frequency offering the opportunity to heal psoas issues and awaken your core integrity. Just as a tree, grown in a restricted container, never reaches its full potential, so too a domesticated psoas never fully express itself when bound within social decorum, linear patterns, and repetitive movement. Be moved from deep within and awaken your inner strength and creativity!

The FOCUS of this Stalking Wild Adventure is Sexual Expression & Core Integrity.  Joining me is Santa Fe-based MogaDao QiGong and Depth Sexology Teacher Sarah Byrden:

We begin with an invitation to all human beings to awaken into a different consciousness from the one society has provided us. We evoke a different experience of existing under the cultural and historical terrain that has been going on since the beginning of time. This biological awareness changes our sense of being, shifting our focus, helps us to emerge from the isolation of separation and subsequently dissolves our insistence on being a thing called a body integrating our participation in the larger biological processes of life. When we allow ourselves the opportunity to simply explore, evoke, and call forth innate movement we discover for ourselves a deep inner knowing that elicits profound conductivity, vital meaning, and delicious playfulness.

Sarah brings to our explorations MogaDao Depth Sexology ~ a practice tradition and culture of sexual reclamation and integrity. It’s teachings and practices hold sexuality in its rightful place of primordial power.

Sexual energy is acknowledged as the fundamental energy of every aspect of our lives, responsible for physical health and vitality, creativity and generosity, trust in the essential goodness of being and our ability to live a life that is aligned with purpose. Our sexual energy, in a Daoist view, holds the code, quite literally, for our destiny. Through Archetypal Qigong practices, the re-mythologizing of our sex understanding, and the powerful integration of the most core somatic structures of sex and the psoas.  We embark on a journey of healing, embodiment and our responsibility to the power and source of our sexual energy and body. This workshop is the creative confluence of these two bodies of work, with the express purpose of reconnecting with our originality, wisdom and essence in body, energy and soul.

Welcome to Core Awareness™

Liz Koch is an international educator and author who seeks to dissolve the objectification of “body” in order to re-conceptualize human beings as biologically intelligent, self-organizing, and self-healing. Employing biomorphic and embryonic paradigms, Liz redefines psoas as smart, expressive tissue that is both elemental and universal.

Core Awareness fosters core integrity and self-efficacy as creative and expressive human beings.

Here at Core Awareness you’ll discover new ways of understanding the psoas. In addition to the blogs there is an educationally rich sourcing free for the taking. Explore my videos, articles, podcasts, interviews, FAQ’s and community links and let yourself go wild!
