Delve a bit deeper into the entangled dynamics of somatic psychology, movement therapy, and core integrity within an embodied dynamic nervous system and primal core psoas. Over the span of 23 years Amber has, through her immersion into the Polyvagal Theory and her work with survivors of human rights abuses globally, developed an integrative body of dance and movement work.
Together Amber and I will explore her Polyvagal Informed work with the Primal Core expressions of Psoas.
PREREQUISITE: This is an advanced collaboration course for PROFESSIONALS and is only for those already with a firm foundation in somatic explorations. Participants need to know they have the confidence, physical centering, and psychic anchoring to hold them in time and space. A clear sense of containment and a fluent practice in grounding is required. This course is not a fit for those who may be currently feeling destabilized, traumatized, struggling to heal, or in need of reestablishing basic nervous system or life coherency. We will be going deep in this course, not only conceptually but truly into the live wilderness of psyche and soma.
CEU: NM counseling CE and ADTA CE
