Spiraling Into the Wild
Integrating Primal Core Psoas & Polyvagal-Informed Continuum & Dance Therapies
Advanced Professional Collaboration
with Dr Amber Gray Ph.D
Delve deeper into the entangled dynamics of somatic psychology, movement therapy,
and core integrity
within an embodied dynamic nervous system and coherent primal core
This Advanced Professional Course is a unique opportunity available only by invitation (to apply see below). We will be hand-selecting a small group of professionals to delve deeper into the intersectionality of somatic movement and Core Awareness within an embodied dynamic nervous system and primal core psoas. Over the span of 23 years Amber has, through her immersion into the Polyvagal Theory
and her work with survivors of human rights abuses globally, developed an Integrative Body of Dance and Movement work specifically integrating the polyvagal theory so that it can be applied in direct somatic work with clients. Together Amber and I will explore her integrative work and with the primal core expressions of psoas.
PRE-REQUISITE: This is an advanced collaboration course for PROFESSIONALS and is only for those already with a firm foundation in somatic explorations. Participants need to know they have the confidence, physical centering, and psychic anchoring to hold them in time and space. A clear sense of containment and a fluent practice in grounding is required. This course is not a fit for those who may be currently feeling destabilized, traumatized, struggling to heal, or in need of reestablishing basic nervous system or life coherency. We will be going deep in this course, not only conceptually but truly into the live wilderness of psyche and soma. You must have attended Liz Koch’s 12-Hr Basic and Advanced Core Awareness Course and/or the Professional Application Course and/or studied and trained extensively with Amber Gray. Please reach out to Liz or Amber to discuss whether this course is the right one for you.
TO BE INVITED TO ATTEND: You will need to email Liz Koch via www.coreawareness.com contact page. Please include what workshops (and year) you completed the BASIC, Advanced, and/or Application Course or training specific to Amber Gray, your professional expertise, and a bit about your interest in attending this advanced course. We reserve the right to invite who we believe will gain the most, add to, and collaborate with our intentions for this weekend.
SIZE: limited to 12 persons
